About the Danish Employers’ Association for the Financial Sector

The Danish Employers’ Association for the Financial Sector (FA) is the Danish employers’ association for undertakings in the financial sector. We have close to three decades of experience in handling industrial matters and disputes and in concluding the collective agreements that apply to the financial sector in Denmark.

Presently, FA represents approximately 170 member companies, which constitute the major part of undertakings in the Danish financial sector. Our members include small, medium-sized and large undertakings in the fields of pension, insurance, banking and mortgaging. We also have a broad range of financial IT companies among our members – as well as other undertakings related to the financial sector.

Our expertise is extensive knowledge and know-how about the financial sector, which we use in our legal advice to member companies and in the safeguarding of our members’ policy interests. In addition, we offer a number of other services, which are free of charge for our member companies, including network groups, conferences, analyses and news about the financial labour market.

Undertakings related to the financial sector may become members of FA.

When admitted to FA, members pay a registration fee of DKK 10,000. The annual membership fee is (2019) DKK 410 per employee, but minimum DKK 15,380. No membership fee is payable for the first employee and each 50th employee. For undertakings with more than 1,000 employees, no membership fee is payable for each 25th employee for the part that exceeds 1,000 employees. The membership fee is indexed annually.
